FNB masters of hidden costs and daylight

After getting ticked off with Absa last year I moved my accounts to FNB, wrongfully thinking it would be better. But alas... a bank is a bank is a bank is a. My first unpleasant experience with FNB was a fuel transaction in December that went off my account twice. The incompetent rocket scientist (very unhelpful guy) at the helpdesk couldn't reverse the incorrect transaction without me writing a letter. I was forced to phone the line, and my issue was immediately resolved. I don't understand why captain incompetence at the helpdesk couldn't resolve my issue. Now my next gripe, I log on to my internet banking this morning to a surprise "annual ebucks fee". THIS IS NEVER MENTIONED in an ad or when you open your account. I wasn't even given the option to have ebucks, I just got my ebucks card. This annual fee is more than what most people earn back in ebucks. Like I said, FNB are just as incompetent as Absa and Standard bank. I have had dealings with most financial institutions in the country and think its better to keep your money under the mattress. At least my mattress won't surprise me by taking off mystery charges or allowing erroneous transactions
