I have been banking with Standard bank for 4 years and have been receiving acceptionally good service everytime i have a query and go to any branch to address it.
Little did i know that doing things telephonically with the Head office was such a bad idea. I called in on Monday (07/10/2013) to request an overdraft on my cheque account and i get told its two working days that i will have to wait to receive feedback and up until now it's a full week and the response i get everytime i call is that there is a backlog with their credit department and i might receive feedback on Monday? which is 7 days later from the requested date and honestly im pretty disappointed as i had been promised feedback two days ago already, never thought id see the day im not happy with my bank.
