I logged a request on 03-02-2013 via internet banking to remove an overdraft on my checque account because Standard Bank's call center was too busy. The website does not offer functionality to cancel an overdraft yourself. I got an acknowledgement on 04-02-2013 from Saras Pillay of the request that I logged. I called her on 06-02-2013 to find out why this request has not been completed and she said that the request was sent to the credit department and that she was going to call them and provide me with feedback. To this day, my overdraft has not been removed nor did I get feedback from Standard Bank as promised.

Standard Bank, I would like you to honour your clients' requests and remove the overdraft facility off my account ASAP or I will have to move my business to another bank. Surely it does not take 5 working days to remove an overdraft off an account!!
