Been trying to move a debit order date for the last 8 or so months to no avail. Phoned in (many times..), where each new Absa consultant confirmed debit date has been moved. Then I tried completing 2 contracts (at ABSA branch)(on 2 different occasions), that debit date has been moved (each contract has maybe 7 or so signatures). Still no change in debit order date. So I ask you... I'll continue making sure that I allocate my funds so that this debit doesn't not go off as ABSA wants it, but as I want it. Been receiving numerous account dishonored letters, account closure threatening letters, many many many Absa phone calls (each time asking for a simple debit order change date)... maybe this complaints works... lets see... can't wait to move to another bank where my bank fees counts towards something...
