I took out a Absa loan last year October. I got a new job at a new company. I always got paid on the 20th at the previous company so the date that the debit order had to go off was on the 27th. When i started my new job i went to Absa to change the debit order date to the end of the month. They said it would take a month before it can be changed after filling in forms that had to be sent to Joburg. The debit order did not go off on the 27th but my money still went off the end of the month, this happened a few times after i phoned to change the date. Now i have been put on ITC which i dont understand, the money goes off each month. I have not missed one payment. Each time i phone i get put through to different people and no - one helps me. If this carries on any longer i am going to be forced to move to a different bank.
