I was missold a policy by a certain Mr Isaac Nkwinika from the Polokwane Branch. I met with Mr Nkwinika to discuss a few options relating to a life policy. We discussed a policy with a Surrender Value so I can use it as security for one of my businesses. Unfortunately, I didnt have time to complete the paperwork and suggested that we meet another day so we can take things forward. I couldn't complete the paperwork and was in hospital for a while. During this time I had phone calls from Mr Nkwinika and a few other people from Old Mutual who wanted to complete the paperwork. I urged Mr Nkwinika to give me time to recover and then I'll make time to come see him to complete the process. But he kept harassing me with phone calls including an email on the 13th September 2013, which was very out of order. He stated that I "shouldn't disappoint" him and needed to complete the paperwork. Is that the language and attitude you train your staff to use? I then got R909.29 deducted from my account on the 30th September WITHOUT my approval. When asked, Mr Nkwinika was out of order even telling me I was lying. This was done in the presence of my wife as he was on loud speaker. ABSOLUTE NONSENSE.
