I RECIEVED A CALL THAT MY STUDENT LOAN WASN'T BEING PAID. THEN RECIEVED A CALL THAT MY LOAN WAS IN CREDIT, I MUST COLLECT THE MONEY. IT TURNS OUT THAT THE LOAN WAS BEING PAID. SO NEDBANK DOESN'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON IN THERE OWN ACCOUNTS.
I GO INTO A BRANCH TO COLLECT THE MONEY. THEY FIND THE INFO AND PROCEED TO TELL ME THEY CAN'T DO ANYTHING BECAUSE IT'S WITH ABSA. I HAVE NEVER TAKEN A LOAN WITH ABSA. I LOOK AT THE INFO AND IT STATES THAT I HAVE DEPOSITED FROM ABSA. SO THE BANKERS DON'T KNOW HOW TO READ A BANK DOCUMENT.
THEY COME BACK AND TELL ME I CAN'T DRAW MONEY FROM THE ACCOUNT. I EXPLAIN THAT IT'S IN CREDIT AND I'VE BEEN TOLD TO COLLECT THE MONEY.
SO ALL IS SORTED THEY SEND ME TO A BANKER TO GET MY MONEY. THEY CAN'T EFT IT AND NO ONE CAN EXPLAIN TO ME WHY. I ASK THE WOMEN WHO HELPED ME, THE RECEPTIONIST AND WAS GREAT. IF THE TELLER WILL KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON.
HE DIDN'T AND I HAD TO SHOW HIM HOW TO READ THE DOCUMENT TO SHOW HIM THE ACCOUNT WAS IN CREDIT.
I ASKED ALL INVOLVED FOR A HISTORY OF PAYMENT AND TO RELEASE THE SURETY INVESTMENT. NONE COULD HELP ME. SAID I MUST CALL IN. I JUST CALLED IN AND WAS TOLD I MUST GO TO A BRANCH.
