VERGING ON HARASSMENT! GET YOUR HOUSE IN ORDER

Hello,

I paid an emergency visit to Morningside mediclinic and paid cash as it was an in and out procedure. Nevertheless, I received a bill for an amount in the high R400s. I delayed payment as I was looking for the cash receipt. I could not find it and settled the account with the clinic direct. About the same time I started receiving the famous and relentless Vericred SMSes. I email the hospital accounts department with a second proof of payment telling them to call off there blood hounds. Nevertheless throughout the Christmas season, and to this very morning I am still getting SMSes that say the account has now added on interest in the region of R200. I called early January and spoke to a nameless wonder who told me that I had two accounts outstanding (first I heard of it) and I requested they be emailed to me directly. Of course nothing arrived in my email.

At the end of the week, this saga would have been in play for 4 months. This is completely unacceptable. The account has been settled. Vericred needs to update their records. They should use some of that killer manpower to actually understand what they are doing, rather than relentless, unaccountable, false harassment.
