I'm a customer of Foschini group since I was a student and I am very dissapointed by the treatment I received from their collections company Vericred. I had financial problems later in 2011 and could not pay my account and when I finally got back to my feet in May 2013 I requested a statement on my foschini account and paid the full outstanding balance I was owing to Foschini. To my SUPRISE soon after making the payment I then received calls & sms's from Vericred telling me I need to pay an amount of R560 to settle my account, I told them I already received my statement and paid the full amount owed and my balance was R0.00, Corrie told me that the account was handed over to them in Aug 2012 therefore I am liable for the costs/interests for their side. MY QUESTION is no one from vericred ever bothered to contact or sms me and/or offer to make an arrangement and now that ive paid my account they want to pretend as if they did any job for foschini, VERICRED is not doing their job and AND according to my foschini statement my account is paid up as it reflects R0.00.I do not want to be bothered by VERICRED as i did not sign any contract with them and would prefer Foschini to contact me
