On 25 August I did an internet transfer and mistakenly entered an incorrect digit on the recieving bank account (ABSA). I went into a Nedbank branch on 28 August and was informed that it would cost R350 and take 7-10 days to resolve my query for a reversal/ refund. Once all the documentation had been completed and apparently submitted I waited 15 days and had not recieved any refund so I went back into the branch and was informed that the documentation had apparently not been recieved by ABSA and was now being resubmitted. This type of service is unacceptable. How can it possibly take a month to refund my money when both banks are aware of where it went to. I would like somebody to contact me and resolve this issue timeously as it is causing myself and my family undue stress.
