On the 25 July, my card was swallowed by machine around 18h00. I immediately called the bank to stop the card as my type of the account does not have a stop card. They put me on hold and while, I was holding the airtime got finished before I could go through. I went to buy the airtime, called again and this time I went through the consultant and while I was speaking the airtime get finished again. I decided to buy another airtime again so that I'll be able to go through and I managed to go through just after 18h30 to stop the card which they stopped. Days after I went to the bank to get a statement and discovered there's R5000 deposited and withdrawn into my account at the same time. Unfortunately, I didn't know where the R5000 was coming from. I immediately reported and was transferred to division. Problem is if there was that 5000 amount deposited and withdrawn at the same time where did my R1300 go which was short after this whole incident. The bank refused to tell me where and instead they are telling me to go to service provider to proof I called them at diffrent times during the incidents and when i got through to them and do affidavits. why don't they investigate?
