I have been banking with Nedbank for 4 years were my salary gets paid into every month, and I have a loan which I have never missed 1 payment on I have tried my best to be the best client I can be. On Tuesday I called the call centre and I asked if they can assist me with a overdraft for one month and they can collect the full amount at the end of the month and close it thereafter, the agent advised me that they cannot assist me because I have a current account and not a Cheque account, when I opened this account 4 years ago, the consultant in the branch advised me that this is a Cheque account I guess the consultant advised me wrong. I am not sure what relationship I have with my bank because they cannot even assist me with a one month overdraft anymore. A few people has asked me why do I bank with Nedbank because there service is poor, well I understand now why they feel that way. Sad to say but I think its time for me to start looking at my options. If I was a bad client and if they can point out one case of none payment in the last three years I could understand but they cant.
