YOU ARE JUST A NUMBER

I AM JUST SO DISAPPOINTED IN NEDBANK IN THE SENSE THAT AN HONEST MISTAKE WAS MADE ON MY CHEQUE ACCOUNT ABOUT A DEBIT ORDER THAT WENT OFF MY ACCOUNT (I THOUGHT THE FIRST INSTALMENT WILL ONLY GO OFF THE FOLLOWING MONTH) THAT TOOK MY ACCOUNT INTO OVERDRAFT WITH A MINOR AMOUNT OF R232.96. TWO DEBIT ORDERS WENT OFF WHICH TOOK MY ACCOUNT INTO OVERDRAFT. THEREFORE I WAS BILLED R180.00 HONOURING FEE. WHEN I RECEIVED THE SMS ON THE AMOUNT THAT WENT OFF MY ACCOUNT THAT I WAS NOT AWARE OF, I IMMEDIATELY DID A TRANSFER OF MONEY TO RECTIFY THE OVERDRAFT. I HAVE HAD MY ACCOUNT WITH NEDBANK FOR 8 YEARS PLUS AND NEVER ONCE IN THAT TIME MY ACCOUNT WENT INTO OVERDRAFT. I CALLED THE BRANCH AND STATED MY COMPLAINT IN THIS REGARD AND WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS MY RESPONSIBILITY AND THEY ARE NOT PREPARED TO TREAT ME AS AN INDIVIDUAL AND LOOK AT MY TRACK RECORD. THEIR ADVERTISEMENTS ALWAYS STATES OTHERWISE THOUGH. I WAS REALLY SO DISAPPOINTED. I HAVE A FEW ACCOUNTS WITH NEDBANK AND I FEEL THAT THE TREATMENT THAT I RECEIVED AFTER EXPLAINING WHAT HAPPENED AND APOLOGISED, THEY WOULD RATHER LOOSE A CLIENT OVER R180.00, IN OTHER WORDS THEY DON'T FEEL ANYTHING FOR THEIR CLIENTS. WE ARE JUST A NUMBER
