I paid up a personal loan with Nedbank on 24.12.13, this means that I have an extra R2500 p/m. I earn commission (averaging at double my salary) however this was not considered and my overdraft was declined. The banker appealed the application requesting to consider my commission and the fact that my personal loan is paid but the credit assessors would not consider. Without a doubt I will be granted an overdraft with another bank, however, being an ex employee of Nedbank I am reluctant to take out an overdraft with another bank. Should Nedbank still not assist I will rather move to another bank that is willing to assist. Will be a pity as I always promote and praise Nedbank to my friends and family and have been banking with them for 6 years, I have a good credit record, good credit history and until now I thought a good relationship with Nedbank, this is unfortunate but if Nedbank can not consider this then I will not consider keeping my profile with them!
