I stopped using my student account 12 months ago in standard bank, now i was contacted by legal team that i owe R1000.00 and they are going to blacklist me. i was never contacted on this before. i went to the branch to find out what the money relates to, as the student account doesn't have services fee and the consultant said she cant help because she can view only statements for 6months, if i need answers i must pay R20 per page for all the statement and in the meantime while investigating the matter they will continue to charge me what ever they have been charging. If its 20 pages i will pay 20*20.

To me it sounds like all that matters is just making money out of all people and not giving the clients the service deserve.

Till today i don't know how come I owe them money, none of the questions i had were answered on the day meaning going the was a waste of my time. Its funny that when the legal team calls they find me but they never bothered not even once to call or even write a letter to me to say i owe them. They needed the bill to be a little bigger before they get hold of me because getting R32 on services fees was not going to be enough.
