Thank you Standard Bank for royally screwing every student achiever account holder over. Did your management at any stage in time take a second to think that you can still be a student after the age of 23? No you didn't! What about people doing MSc and PhD degrees as a full time occupation?

The best of all is the utter poor service you get when you to a branch and request that your EFT limit is increased so you can pay your tuition fees.

So instead of contacting your loyal client (of over 15 years) about his account, you will alter his account and charge him an imaginary management fee and then go and charge him a fee for every single transaction on the account WITHOUT NOTIFYING HIM AT ALL!

I decided to voice my concern about your mediocre banking service and your crooked approach to money from students right here to see how long it would take someone to get back to me and resolve the issue.

Has Standard Bank really degraded to the point where they have to money from students for a living???
