In July a consultant called me regarding the account to thank me for the payment and confirm my details. I explained that the debit order for July must not run as I would make the payment cash. We agreed on that and I was surprised when the debit order went off. I made a reversal and went to Westgate branch and spoke to a teller who told me my account shows no minimum balance due as the R250 I was paying was more than the required instalment. I then paid R50.

I received my statement and see an amount of R109.65 for a returned debit order. My question is why was I charged this amount if the error was on Nedbank side as I had advised the consultant in advance not to debit my account for the month? I refuse to accept this amount. I called and spoke to a lady called Chantell who could not explain anything to me and subsequently hung up on me. I understand no notes were made on my account regarding this but I am sure if the calls are recorded as they say they are, this can be sorted out. Can someone please get back to me and fix this error. The amount is too huge to ignore

i have sent countless emails regarding this and no one has responded a week late
