Customer Service - a lack of proper communication

I have taken out a contract with cell c for my daughter in Dec 2012. The monthly installment is R 149.29
In the month of June and July, I requested that I pay the account via EFT monthly as this is my preferred method of paying my accounts, I was told by a consultant that it is no problem they will put in the request for me but I must ensure that I make the payment before the cutoff date or that the account is in advance, I made two payments the 25th of July R 279.03 to settle the current balance and R 237.03 in advance to get the account in a credit balance in order for them not to do the debit and another payment the 25th of Aug 2013 of R 150 Now I receive an sms from cell c that the debit order did not go through and an additional R 70 will be charged to my account due to the fact that the account is in arrears and the debit did not go through. I do not understand as the account must be in advance and they were not supposed to be taking the debit. I have spoken to another consultant this morning and I told her that I have the proof of payment and it was send to their email and fax, but they never did the receipt. Now I must pay for their mistake
