I applied for a loan via the Internet and within 3 days I was under the impression the matter was approved and funds would be released. Two days later and the funds don't appear on my Internet profile. I was asked to provide my card number which I did via email to Mandy. Subsequent calls to ABSA has resulted in three numbers for me to contact. Each saying the correct dept. needs to assist. The third number was loans via the Internet but the guy couldn't pick up any outstanding details on my profile. He very kindly said he could assist me reapplying with him telephonically but not today because they knock off now and we can wrap up tomorrow.
Really great service. How can what is initially such a smooth, seamless and impressive process become such a frustrating mess that I'm ready to switch banks.
Really disappointed!
