I had a clutch breakdown on my Nissan Hardbody D/C about 4000km after I bought it. On advice of the agent who sold me the policy and the car salesman who advised me to take this policy with SA Warranties I took my vehicle to Nissan Eastcape in Port Elizabeth for repairs. They were very helpful and were prepared to repair my vehicle on a Saturday. Due to reason beyond my or their control they were not able to finish the vehicle until the following Wednesday 3 July 2013. I was advised by the agent of SA Warranties that I could hire a car up to R1000, pay for it out of my pocket and claim the money back from SA Warranties. I hired the car for 3 days and when I submitted my claim I got told by Mr Cassie Coetzee that it was a job that should not have taken longer than 8 hours with the result they were not responsible and refused to pay the claim. He was plain rude about my questioning why they were not paying. Unfortunately 1000km further I had problems with the propshaft I have a good mind of returning the vehicle to the company I bought it from and never to buy a policy from SA Warranties again.
