On 18/06/2013 my Gold 4 broke down and Ermelo Volkswagen send through a claim / quotation to SA Warranties. I've had my policy as well as an extended warranty for longer than a year without claiming. When enquiring from SA Warranties AGAIN this morning they informed me that they are only paying for the cause of the problem, the rest are not covered. The quotation is approximately R32 000-00 of which they are only willing to pay about R8 000-00. How can they only pay for the cause of the problem? It's because of the cambelt that broke that the whole engine ceized. The car was serviced recently so it is definitely not because of non-service that this happened. They don't even have the decency to inform me that the rest of the claim was rejected!! My original claim number with SA Warranties is: SAW 242300-CLM
