I phoned auto and general to update my information and change my scheduled debit order date.
After failing to do so and the lady wanted to update my details I asked whether I had topup cover on my vehicle. I was not only informed that I do not have topup on my vehicle I was also informed that I was only covered should my car was a totally written off and not if someone should crash into my car. WHY ON EARTH WILL I ONLY TAKE OUT COVER IF MY CAR WAS ONLY WRITTEN OF???
After the consultant wanted to update MY details (on my expense) and I asked her to phone me back I was informed that they are experiencing high call volumes and that she could not phone me back (an existing client). I already waited for my call to be answered to sort out a debit order date and they wanted to ask questions regarding my info on my expense?
I am disgusted to say the least with auto and general insurance. Lets hope the volume of calls the call centre is experiencing is not to busy to sort out a clients query, complaint and very serious concern!!!
