Giving me different information

My brother was studying with Rosebank college and the account was handed over to Maravedi 29 July 2013 which I immediately called and spoke to Mirriam who told me i have to pay R3567 which I made an arrangement to pay the money by month end August I then recieved an SMS by the 31 July acknowledging my arrangement for payment I then recieved an email from Olivia with the statement of the money I am owing I then recieved an SMS on 13 August that I failed to pay my account I again called and ask why am I recieving such SMS after I made the arrangement then they told me to ignore because they can see on the system that I made the arrangement I then paid the R3567 on the 20th of August now they say they will not give me the paid up letter because I was suppose to pay R3922 which I dont know about. I fell they are frauding me and why must I pay for something I dont know about.
