I contacted SDB regarding payment due on my Home loan account from the 20th July 2013 knowing I'm in arrears and wanted to settle the full outstanding balance. After several attempts leading up to about the 25th of the month I was successful and a Call Centre Consultant informed me to make payment of R3640.00. Which was paid on the 26th July 2013.Shotly after making Payment I received a call from SDB Legal Department demanding I make a payment of R6000.00. I told the consultant to get someone else to call me as I did not appreciate his attitude towards me and put the phone down. On the 27th July 2013 another consultant called from the Legal Department and said I'm in arrears of R6000.00. I ask her to explain why when I called earlier this month the previous consultant did not tell me this, she replied that after I had made payments the Auditors went through my account and seen there was an arrangement made previously and an amount outstanding which they reverse back on to my account hence the arrears. I then understood and made another arrangement saying I would pay this off in 3 months and the first payment commencing end of August 2013. The amount she gave me was R3610.00
