My car was in a accident I phoned to report the accident and was told that a consultant will phone me back with in 48 hours which did not happen. it took me 3 days to get hold of Virseker. the claim was registered and it took 2 months to get the claim settled of which they wanted to send the car to a non dealer approved repairer which would have affected the warranty that is still active on the car so they fixed it at the dealer when I said the car will not go to the particular repairer but paid out R800 less than the original quote. i am still waiting for the reply on the email that was sent asking why this was not paid in full. i cancelled my policy with them and was told that a manager will phone me back with in 48 hours which only happened 5 days later. the manager said that they get discount at the repairer and that's why they paid R800 less for the claim. when i told her that the repairer was not a authorised repairer she said that not all repairs needs to be done at a dealer approved repairer. VW disagreed with this statement of her. also asked her for a refund for August which she refused to do as it is the middle of the month. and they do not do refunds.
