First For Women Insurance
Insurance disaste

On 28 October I submitted my claim after tried to my car. First I was told that damage is less than excess, 2 more assessments followed and claim was approved on 4 November. I was informed that my car will be moved to the repairer by the following day. On 5 November I got a call from Tshiviwe from FFW repairs division who told me she'll be my consultant and keep me updated. I haven't heard from her since and she doesn't return messages. On 8 November I phoned the repairer hoping to get an update from them, I was told that my car is on their system, but the car is not there. Back to FFW where I spoke to Makuna who figured out that the car is STILL at the assessor's yard! Car arrived finally at the repairer at 16:30 on Friday, which meant no one will touch it until Monday. Parts have been ordered and I check in regularly. I've been with FFW for 4 years, each month I pay over R800 and this is the service I get on my very first claim! Why does it take 3 assessments, 4 days to move a car and why isn't anyone keeping me updated?
