VEHICLE REGISTRATION DOCUMNETS REFUND

I was informed that my vehicle has been paid up. I went to the ABSA branch in Oxford street East London on 22.07.2013, to request the vehicle registration documents.

At the branch I was informed by Bukelwa, that there is a credit balance of
R2136.00 and they need my bank details in order to process the refund that will take 7 working day.

On 24.07.2013, I contacted the branch as no one called me to come and sign for the registration documents and the credit balance was still not paid in to my bank account, I was informed by Jacky on 031-3669840, that they cannot proceed with the refund and release the registration documents as there is a legal hold on the account and she wanted to know whether I placed the hold on the account.

I went back to the branch on 27.07.2013 and I was assisted by a very helpful lady named Nombulelo, who is still trying to get my matter resolved, but she was informed by the legal department that the account is not paid up and there is an outstanding balance of R2900.00 on my account.

Will you please advise, how I can be informed that the account is paid up and all of a sudden when I request the documents there is legal holds and outstanding balances on t
