I lost my handbag along with my cards and id document and i went to Nedbank Standford Quarter to block my account and order new cards as this is the branch where I had opened my account. I spoke to Navitha Mathapersadh to ask if she could assist me with the copy of id, affidavit and proof that I applied for an id and she refused point blank and continued with her work load as though I did not exist, she did'nt even offer to have my account blocked for me. I left Nedbank in tears because it was the second time this manager refused to go the extra mile for me. The following day, I went to Nedbank in 6th Avenue and the staff there assisted me with the documents I had as they had my file on the system. I managed to block my account and get a new card without a temporary id. I am disgusted in the way that branch manager treated me and feel that she should'nt be allowed to treat anyone else in that manner.
