I want to know how Nedbank can just block my account without informing me? I went to the garage to fill up my tank when they swiped my card it says restricted service I had no cash money on me I left my car there and went to try and withdraw money it again says restricted service by this time the petrol attendant is getting impatient I had no cash money on me I had to call someone to come pay the fuel purchase it was humiliating it also caused that I was late for work and this is at 6am on a Sunday morning. I call the call call centre when getting to work they tell me my card needs to be fica'd I need to go into a branch with my I.D and proof of address WHY??? when it was done already and my card was working perfectly fine and NO ONE informs me of this the girl at the call center says the system automatically does it and does not inform clients what kind of system do you work on??? I cant use my card at all and I'm upset that Nedbank does not have the decency to contact me advising me they just block my card because it suits them this is unacceptable.
