Very bad customer service

In the space of three months my account as been blocked 4 times for FICA. I had to go to the branches already three times with the same proof of address (taking leave from work), I guess the agents even knows my face. Since they don't send any notification before they decides block the account. The last incident occurred when I had to pay for my wife operation at Park lane clinic; I couldn't with draw the money, so I couldn't do it at 9 AM as originally scheduled until 1 PM. I had to go to the bank so that they could re-open it (my account). that was last Wednesday and As we speak now it is already blocked again for the fourth time. what a joke is it to bank with Absa for almost 10 years. that how the thanks the customers. welcome to SA.
