On the 12th of last month, I called and requested to cancel my merchant machine, the operator advised that it takes 3 days to process and that the machine would be collected, this seemed good and happened exactly he explained, the MONTH END comes and I see on my statement that I was charged for the FULL month in both commission and rental. I just got off the phone now with another operator who says I SHOULD have been informed that there is a 30 Day notice period! I agree, if I was told about that I would have simply told Capitec to bring their machine a month later and not have to pay two rentals at the same time.
It is grossly unfair that I am charged rental for a device I didnt even have.
