So I have been a happy Capitec client for 2 years now and after some consideration I decided to switch banks to Absa. Being told by the sales person Masilo that the bank charges will not be high at all, I was charged over R525 in bank charges and guess what, my salary hasn't even been paid into the account as yet. I have gone through all the effort in switching my debit orders and informing my payroll to change my banking details, but I would rather go through all the effort again to keep it with Capitec then be robbed every single month like this. I am so dissapointed with Absa I don't even have any words to describe it. After being truly excited about the switch I have to get a wake up call like this.
