Two months ago I applied for an overdraft facility on my cheque account to be activated. I had already needed to wait 6 months from opening the account so that I could apply (due to not having a credit rating for long enough - understandable). After applying and sending them through my latest payslip, they said the would get back to me. It is now two months later and despite sending a mail through to the complaints section on the Online Banking portal, I'm still waiting for feedback.
The application was made in the first week of May and it is now pretty much August. I refuse to go to a branch when electronic banking seems to be what FNB is trying to move towards and sell.
