In May 2013, sms to Outsurance to get a quota - we were awaiting finance. Outsurance called my husband & then he advised they need to contact me. Outsurance wanted to know when to debit the acc - my response was - we dont even have a car yet, so how can the account be debited. They advised my husband said we got the car - i confirmed with my husband and he of course didnt say that - we just looking for a quota. They put the phone down. On the 27 July 2013 - get an sms on his phone 897 was deducted from his acc - ref: outsurance. This of course made NO sense to us, so he checks his account to find that last month they deducted R1100 from his acc. So we call Outsurance - ask them WHY they debiting the acc and for what. Apparently he took out a policy with them, HOW he managed to do this without knowing is BEYOND me - so if you call for a Quotation from Outsurance you automatically agreeing to some hidden agreement of a POLICY??? WHAT POLICY OUTSURANCE??? OH and we received our policy number and a brochure about policy yesterday - got told .. If my husband agree on the phone we will only get one premium back!! They have our monies and now dont want to pay us back!!
