Two months ago I cancelled my insurance policy with Outsurance as I was about to sell my car and wanted to buy a new car.
The quote given to me by outsurance was just too high so I decided to move to Dial Direct.
Shortly after cancelling the policy I received a phone call from a manager asking me why I cancelled my policy, I explained it to him and mentioned I was interested in getting a new Polo vivo.
He then offered me this that and the other which I declined and explained to him that I did not have a car and was not interested in being insured by Outsurance, he assured me that no more money would be taken from my account, and that was that.
Two weeks ago I notice almost R400 debited from my account by outsurance.
Upon querying the debit I am told that I have a policy on a Polo Vivo, what a surprise, as I don't even own a Polo Vivo.
I have received NO notification of this policy, and they refuse to refund me.
This is!
I fail to see how they can insure a car that they have fabricated, no registration number, nothing.
I am apauled by the service I have received by Outsurance.
