When applying for a loan, part of the questionnaire is to furnish them with a contact person not living with you. When the applicant default on the loan the bank simply harass that person. My contact number has been given in a situation like this, I live in Bloemfontein and the defaulter live's in PE. I have been telling the bank that for the last five weeks, had over eighty calls.
Feels like harassment, Standard Bank did not contact me when the application was initiated, Why phone me now?
They should delete that part off their applications as most people don't know the whereabouts of people not living with them, let alone in different city's situations.
