I have gone from being a valued customer at Standard Bank -where I have my personal, home loan and business account to a reference number who has to try explain to a different person everyday about how I applied for a further loan. The last guy I spoke to could not even find my name on their system - even when I gave him my ref no number and ID and all my details - this took him 20 minutes...

The worst part is that it feels like no one cares, because how can you have empathy for someone when you have no connection to this person, because every time you phone standard bank (and explain the same story) it is a different person...

From applying for a re-advancement and ammeding to a further loan on the 10th jan - 4th Feb (still waiting for a response), Standard bank has and its consultants have IGNORED ME, LOST ALL MY DOCUMENTS, TO ME, ADVISED ME THAT MY APPLICATION DOES NOT EXIST, and generally SHOWN NO INTEREST in getting a result.

I have a record of correspondence with Standard Bank and its consultants...

I still have no answers and no result! this is our lives that the consultants casualy pass the buck on everyday.
