I HAVE BEEN APPLYING FOR A HOME LOAN SINCE OCTOBER 2012, AND EACH TIME STANDARD BANK HOME LOANS EITHER DECLINE, DELETE, DO NOT PROCEED ETC.
THEY DO NOT HAVE THE GUTS TO CALL ME, AS A CLIENT TO ADVISE ME OF MISSING OR INCORRECT DETAILS, THEY JUST DECLINE.
I HAVE SUBMITTED ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS NUMEROUS TIMES, BUT THIS MORNING, I WAS SHOCKED...
STANDARD BANK DELETED THE APPLICATION ON THE GROUNDS THAT I AM SELF EMPLOYED, NOTING THAT I HAVE SENT IN 3 MONTHS SALARY SLIPS AND 4 MONTHS BANK STATEMENTS.
THEY ASK FOR STATEMENTS BEGINNING ON THE 1ST OF JANUARY 2013, WHEN THEY AS A FINANCIAL INSTITUTION CANNOT EVEN PROVIDE THIS TO THEIR CLIENTS...
I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN STANDARD BANK, AS ON A HOME LOAN OF R 630K, THEY WILL BE MAKING FAR MORE ON INTEREST.
WHY IS IT THAT A PERSON WHO IS EARNING AN HONEST LIVING HAS A PROBLEM TO GET A HOME LOAN, WHEN HE/SHE IS PROVIDING ALL YOU ASK FOR.
I HAVE BEEN THROUGH THE MILL WITH STANDARD BANK, AND NOW WOULD LIKE A MANAGER OR SUPERIOR TO MAKE CONTACT WITH ME.
