My husband & I have an existing Home loan with Standard bank. We bought our house 3yrs ago and standard bank happily gave us finance. The roof started leaking 6 months into living there - STANDARD BANK INSURANCE REFUSE TO FIX THE ROOF. 2012 October We made application for an extension on our existing home loan but till today - they are still unable to handle this application. It has been 4months of dealing with people who has total disregard to the customer's situation. We have played this game way too long as this is the 4th application. Now the bank statements they want back dates until August 2012 - should this not already be in their position as our first application was made in October counting 3months back. Would it make more sense to cancel our current bond and move it to a bank that can actually assist there customers?
