My FNB cheque card expires at the end of the month and a new one was sent to FNB the Glen branch in Jo'burg. I now live in Cape Town and obviously not able to collect. I phoned FNB's call center to request a transfer of the card to my nearest branch. I was advised to rather go to my nearest branch and request a new card as this would be quicker rather than to wait for the card to be couriered. I went to my nearest branch (FNB Kenilworth Centre) to request a new card when I was informed if I request a new card I would be charged a fee for it. The call center operator never informed me there would be additional charges applicable if I order a new one. My card was requested to be sent from The Glen to Kenilworth centre. I was told it takes 2-3 working days for the card to arrive. This was done on the 11th of July. On the 18th of July I phoned to inquire if my card has arrived yet. I was told it has not yet arrived, but has been dispatched from JHB and should arrive in the next 2 days. This morning the 22 of July I was informed by the branch, that my card has not yet arrived, nor has been dispatched from the Glen yet. I am still waiting
