I submittedd my divorce order in April 2013 as per the reqirements of Alexandra Forbes when claiming from Gift Motshabi's (my ex-husband) pension fund.
My ex-husband has been the client of the said company for the time during our marriage as he is an employee of Anglo American. The Court on 26 November 2012 ordered that I was entitled to claim half of my his pension funds.
I contacted Alexandra Forbes in March 2013, and the procedure to claim was explained to me via e-mail and telephonically. I then submitted the reqiured document with them in April 2013. I have been calling the call centre, but recieved no help. I am always told that they are giving my matter attention, but to date there are no results.
I last contacted them in May 2013, where i asked to speak to their supervisor, I was kept on hold for some time, when the consultant came back on line, he told me my documents were all in order and i will recieve forms to claim via e-mail within 24 hours. To this day i have never heard anything from them.
I am disgusted and utterly disappointed at the treatment and the level of incompetence I experieced, more ecspecially at the hands of such a reputable company.
