The above claim documentation was submitted on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 10:24 AM (By email). I realise that we have had the festive season in between all of this - but on contacting AF on 0860 664444 on Thursday, February 07, 2013 08:07 AM (By email) I was advised that they were in receipt of all documentation but that the claim had not been handed over to the Divorce Claim Department. On phoning AF today, Tuesday, February 12, 2013 15:30 PM the claim has been handed over to the Divorce Claim Department and it is now with the Legal Department... and wait for this... another 60 days to payout.
I find this service delivery from Alexander Forbes Financial Services totally unacceptable - 4 months from date of submitting Divorce Claim to payout - absolutely ludicrous. If I had to offer the Public a service like I have been demonstrated by AF - I would be out of business.
On typing Alexander Forbes in Google today I was shocked to see the number of complaints with regards to non payment of claims - for various reasons - and all due to service delivery from AF... or rather should I say lack thereof.
I would appreciate feedback with regards to the above.
