I have been with standardbank for over 18 years, time has arrived to change banks. It seems, they recently decided clients no longer important, new policy it seems is "The interested of standardbank first, The convenience for standardbank first" and maybe we will see what we can do for clients.. Actually no.. Stuff the clients.. They are unimportant to us"
Standardbank unilaterally no longer trust any clients with ATM deposits, even trusted ones of 18yrs. Inline with their new policy it seems. Standardbank must have additional policy, "We change our agreements with clients how, when, and however we wish without caring to inform clients, it's their money, their inconvenience, but we don't care"
Contacted standardbank to provide one last time clearance on funds deposited at ATM, as they not informed me of policy change (need funds urgently). Their Answer, "Sorry you are our clients and we don't care for our clients or the inconvenience we cause them, it's your problem wait the 5 days, deal with it". O, yea forgot, clients and their Interests is the least important thing to standardbank it seems. I strongly recommend that, if you with or thinking of standard bank go elsewhere!
