Standardbank recently awarded us with a homeloan but it's been the worst experience ever. I don't know whether I'm their client or enemy. My wife and I were informed by Standardbank like most Standardbank homeloan applicants, if my wife brings her account over to Standardbank they will revise our interest rate as soon as they see my wife salary reflects in her new Standardbank account. After her salary reflected in the standardbank account and switching her debit orders Standardbank advised that we will not be getting a better rate as the rate we getting is already a good enough rate. Nedbank offered me a better rate and I'm not even their client. I'm done with Standardbank and their arrogance.
