I applied for finance via the FNB Vehicle Finance section of FNB's website. It took FNB over a week to first respond after I completed the online application form and from there they seem to not even try to improve their service.
I don't expect any financial issues since I have an excellent credit record. I also applied for finance via ABSA and it took ABSA one day to respond and give me a final rate of interest.
It seems that ABSA gives overall better service. I was a client with ABSA before converting to FNB but at this point in time it spites me. Don't listen to the FNB advertisements - it seems to be the only good thing produced by them.
