Absa does not care about their customers

I have been banking with ABSA since the 90's and the first time I needed any form of financial assistance was in 2010 when I was buying a car. My bank (ABSA) declined to finance my vehicle... I was subsequently financed by Westbank (FNB). I decided to let it go... I allowed ABSA to continue gorging interests from my two accounts. This month (August 2013) my husband and I applied for finance for a R2.8m house in the four major banks. Guess what, ABSA offered us the least convincing package of the four banks... not surprising was FNB who gave us the best loan with the best interest rate.

ABSA has disappointed me every time I needed them but I keep pumping money into my accounts which they take interest from each month. I have a cheque account and an investment account with ABSA and I challenge you to have a look at my profile and tell me if I'm not worth financing. ABSA cannot just respond to all finance applications in a template format... this is the impression one gets when they receive a response to a loan application... very impersonal and that should never be the case in a competitive environment in which banks operate.
