I applied for vehicle finance on the 8th of July as i had a car that i wanted to buy and absa took their time to approve the deal which they eventually did approve after 4days, and unfortunately the car was sold to somebody else by then. Then absa promised to hold the finance for me while i looked for another car, i found another car but however with my current financial situation the deposit that i am willing to pay is slightly less than what i had promised to pay but still substantial and owing to this my application was rejected. I have a had a relationship with this bank for more than 6 year and i have a paid up vehicle finance loan to prove i can afford this car, this kind of treatment is very disappointing i thought a bank was supposed to help you out in difficult times. Thinking twice about ABSA, you have let me down once more.
