My vehicle is financed through ABSA, it has been since Feb last year. When purchasing the vehicle, I insured the vehicle through First fo Woman, from whom I have received amazing service.
At the begining of this week, my repayment went up with a random R 570 for which I have not budgeted and have caused me to not be able to meet other commitments. I tried for 3 days to get hold of them. On Monday alone, I used R 100 airtime, without any joy!
When eventually i go hold of them, I was told that they have added insurance onto my repayment. At this point, I might add that they have my insurance detail, because that is why they released the car to me. Also... and this should be a no-brainer, my FFW payments come of the same ABSA account that my vehicle payment come off of.
Long story short, they refuse to refund my money as apparently it is "FFW"'s reponsiblity to convince them that I have cover and only then will they reimburse.
Are they even allowed to take money from my account without my permission??!!
Could someone please help urgently as I need my money and my credit record is now jeopordized.
