I'm so annoyed with Standard bank. every month I have a complaint about them. I lost my card and went to replace it, when I tried to use my card I realised that both my credit and cheque cards were blocked. its so embarrassing when you have to pay for something and your cards decline. there is also a company that keeps debiting my account which I have continuously asked Standard bank to block but I've been unsuccessful. all I ever get are promises that my money will be returned in two days and a week later I'm still waiting for them to return it. promises that a consultant will call me to resolve the matter but again they don't bother to get back to me.
