NO CARDS, NO MONEY - 'thanks' Standard Bank

Last Friday, 1 March, I wanted to pay for my Visa application for America but while imputing my information on the internet realised that every single card I have (Standard Bank Cheque, Credit & Petrol card) expired at the end of February 13. I then phone the card division to find out that they have not even ordered my credit or petrol card on the internal system!!! I also found out that my cheque card was sent to Sable Square in Cape Town and no one has contacted me to confirm this. I do not live in Cape Town anymore, so am not able to collect these cards! I was informed that my cheque card delivery was communicated via sms on my previous cell phone number. I spent HOURS in Standard Bank last year to update all my information after getting married. I have been using my new number for internet banking for months. How is it possible that some areas within Standard Bank still has my incorrect number? The card division also confirmed that my cards are going to take 5-7 days. How on earth do they expect me to get money out of my own bank account if I do not have cards? How am I supposed to live?
If you bank at Standard Bank you better check your expiry dates since they obviously don't!
